Indian style macaroni

Feels like singing hey Macarena song. Well I prepared this for our yesterday nights dinner and today it went for my sons tiffin too,so this can be had as a breakfast,lunch or dinner,choice is yours..My kids love pasta in any form,so I wanted to prepare something different.I used to prepare this often for my husbands tiffin since he prefers Indian food.

Macaroni-1 packet,cook as per instructions
Onion-2,sliced thinly
Cabbage-1/3 cup,chopped
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Red chilly-2(optional)
Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Coriander leaves-few,to garnish
Olive oil- 3 tsp
Salt-to taste
Tomato sauce-2 tsp

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry ginger garlic paste and red chilly,add all the veggies and fry it on high flame for few minutes.
  2. Add the powders one by one and fry it in low flame,add cooked macaroni,tomato sauce and salt to taste.
  3. Cover and cook for for sometime.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves.

My notes:
You may also add crushed garlic as a variation.
You may add few Cashewnuts too.
You may add tomatoes instead of tomato sauce.
