Prawns Buzzane

Prawns buzzane  recipe was shared by one of our guest who stayed with us a year back.She said this dish is  basically a  Maharastrian  Koli community’s delicacy.I have prepared this dish several times and is spicy and  super tasty. You may relish this dish with rice or roti. This dish is very simple to prepare.When it comes to seafood preparations I just become superactive. I can prepare eat it any time of the day.Are you?

Prawns-25,cleaned and deveined
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Lemon -1.juice
Green chilly-10-12
Ginger-2 tsp.chopped
Tamarind pulp-Marble sized,pulp
Salt-to taste
Oil-2 tbsp

  1. Marinate the prawns with salt,turmeric powder and lemon juice for an hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions,green chillies and ginger until the onions turns pinkish in color.
  3. Add tamarind pulp,marinated prawns and salt to taste.
  4. Add little water and cook till done.
