Idli roast

As I said in my earlier post that many dishes may be prepared with the leftover idli’s and Idli roast is one of it and also fast moving with the kids especially.This batch of idli I deep fried.You may also pan fry if you are health conscious.This is again an easy peasy recipe nothing much to do here.Whenever I visit Udupi I never miss out a chance of having Diana’s (restaurant) specialty that is Idli roast.They make the best idli roast…This makes a great evening snack,mid morning snack or even kids tiffin snack.



Ingredients:
Leftover idli-6
Oil-1/4 cup to deep fry
Ketchup-to serve

Method:
  1. Cut the idli lengthwise or as you like.
  2. Heat oil and deep fry it until crisp and golden brown.
  3. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
