Sardines fry / Pedvo thallale

Festival of lights starts from tomorrow and the next five days will be celebrated with pomp and enthusiasm all over the country . All the cities in India will be decked up marvelously . Tomorrow being the first day, G.S.B’s perform puja, have oil bath followed by seafood dinner served on the plantain leaf. Having seafood thali on a plantain gives a different kick. This is the only festival where we are permitted to have seafood on tomorrow’s day . So I thought of sharing sardines fry recipe. Fish fry recipe is already shared in the space but I thought of making separate posts for each variety. During Monsoon season we get the best baby sardines popularly known as ‘Tharu Bhuthai’ in the local thulu language. Best combination with any fish fry is ‘Onion Thambuli’.
